Here's the desired end-state:

- Anyone can create or edit most wiki pages.

- Some wiki pages are "locked" and can not be edited by anyone other than an administrator.

- Blog entries can only be made by an administrator.  Anyone can comment on posts.

Is level of control possible?  If so, where do I go to make these changes?  I checked out the Manage Users page and it doesn't appear that one has this level of granularity regarding either task or user, but perhaps I'm overlooking something here or elsewhere.

These features are not available at the moment but are coming soon (the next 3-5 weeks):

Some wiki pages are "locked" and cannot be edited by anyone other than the administrator

This is scheduled to be completed in the next 3-5 weeks.

Blog entries can only be made by an administrator.  Anyone can comment on posts.

This is also scheduled to be completed in about the same time.  You will have more control than simply restricting it to an administrator however since you'll be able to designate a group of people that can post blog entries.  This will let you only add the administrator to that group so you will be able to have your desired outcome.

Good news.  Looking forward to seeing these changes come online.

Will the announcement of the availability of these changes be made in an e-mail update to all?
